Reflection on Quater 1

I think that I have grown a lot as a reader. I now know how to understand what I am reading instead of just skimming through it. The reading journal has made me learn new things. Before I did the reading journal this quarter I didn’t know anything about connections or layer questions. All of the writing I did this quarter has made me into a better writer. I use better verbs, like mussel verbs. I also learned how to write without actually writing about my writing. I learned how to write by showing not telling the story. Next quarter I think I should work on how to make my stories flow better. Before this quarter I wasn’t very advanced in technology but now I know how to blog. This quarter I have also learned how to work well in a group. We did many group activities this quarter including two literature circles. Next quarter I hope to do better in the reading department. I have read a pretty good number of books but I would like to do better next quarter.
