Lit Circle 9/25
In our lit circle we related our book to all the other books we have read. I think the book reminds me of the book Holes because he was in a detention center. It was alot like Holes because in Holes he was allowed to watch tv and still socialize but he was still in a jail setting. we also related the touching spirt bear to the book hatchet in hatchet he had to survive on his own and learn how to respect and value his life. We also talked about what we thought was going to happen later in the book.

I agree that this kid needs to learn to respect his life, people around him, and himself. Many people, not only criminals, seem to not respect themselves. That is the most ridiculous thing ever. I hope that Cole finds himself, and I hope you never lose yourself Hallie K :]] I LOVE YOU!
Well I haven't read this book yet, but it is one i believe I want to read sometime when I have the time. There are so many people in the world that are very disrespectful, but everyone should have some sort of respect for themselves.
